Nice hosted the 9th Meeting of the Mediterranean Group for the Study of Diabetes
April 28 - May 1, 2005
After the success of the Lisbon meeting in 2003, we have enjoyed on organizing a congress worthy of the ambitions of the MGSD. These objectives are to encourage high-level scientific content by inviting leading specialists and by dealing with specific Mediterranean topics that meet the expectations of all participating countries. We have therefore chosen essential emerging themes for countries of the South and North of the Mediterranean. |
These subjects involve the specific epidemiological, pathophysiological, and sociological dimensions of our populations. The practical problems concerning the management of our patients, who more and more frequently cross the Mediterranean, have been widely discussed.
You will find some of the abstracts and slides of the presentations under the heading "Congress".
