	Nice hosted the 9th Meeting of the Mediterranean Group for the Study of Diabetes April 28 - May 1, 2005 After the success of the Lisbon meeting in 2003, we have enjoyed on organizing a congress worthy of the ambitions of the MGSD. These objectives are to encourage high-level scientific content by inviting leading specialists and by dealing with specific Mediterranean topics that meet the expectations of all participating countries.
