	The 10th Meeting of our Association, founded in 1985, took place in Istanbul from 26th to 29th April, 2007. 	Nice hosted the 9th Meeting of the Mediterranean Group for the Study of Diabetes April 28 - May 1, 2005 After the success of the Lisbon meeting in 2003, we have enjoyed on organizing a congress worthy of the ambitions of the MGSD. These objectives are to encourage high-level scientific content by inviting leading specialists and by dealing with specific Mediterranean topics that meet the expectations of all participating countries.
